This was *such* a sweet scene and very, very enjoyable to read. I also looked up the world callipygian... and oh my. I did not know such a word existed in the English language. But I can see how it can be applied to Edmund ;)

I absolutely love this! This is the most sophisticated romantic comedy I've read, and I love your characterization of Edmund; he's not OOC in the least, and you have no idea how hard it is to find a good Ed/OC fic in this archive. Arrania is also really great as a character. I really liked her father's description of arranged marriages in the last chapter; it was unbiased and realistic.

I looked up callipygian before you told me too and nearly fell off the sofa laughing.
I love this story. Good plot, I haven't seen it done before in the fandom, Arrania is realistic and everything is perfect.

Love this story. I don't have to believe that this girl must be using some kind of Mary Sue witchcraft to seduce Ed, because she's not a Sue. She's actually cool, I can see Edmund taking an interest in her.
I'll probably have more to say later, when I read the rest of it. I just wanted to review now to say that I dream of pushing people off battlements frequently.

I looked up "callipygian" and giggled... and added it to my list of words that I absolutely MUST use in context someday. Where do you find all these great words? This is the third word from your story that I've written down because it was just too good to forget. (And if you say it's from reading a lot, I dread to ask just WHAT you've been reading that had "callipygian" in it. Shame, shame.) :) Love the story! Villien is satisfactorily disgusting, and Edmund is adorable and amazing, callipygousness aside...

In re-reading this chapter, I just noticed that if you say 'Sir Toriel' in a really posh voice (English accent that is - as a Brit I suppose it comes more naturally for me to project such accents on to nobles) it sounds like "sartorial" which made me giggle.
You are so wickedly clever!

I /loved/ the way you brought Aslan into this!! It was really really well done and I--being a Christian, like your self (don't worry, I only know because I saw your profile XD)--absolutely loved the symbolism in this. It was admittedly bittersweet, but I really liked it anyways.

Ah, so THAT'S how this story lasts for quite a while longer... I can't wait to see what happens next!! And I laughed SO hard in this chapter, though I've done that for nearly every chapter...

By the way, I completely agree. I love Skandar Keynes as Edmund but the older Edmund was definitely NOT right...

LOL. I had my friends tell me what it means and I laughed. I laughed SO hard. This is probably the funniest fic I have ever read and I really love it. And I'm quite glad to find I have several more chapters to go XD.
