The plot thickens. Star Colonel Akela surely has something up his sleeve.

Too many fisticuffs for my taste here, and too much miracle healing of Sigurd's body. He is one hell of a guy but still ... it throws shadows on what is otherwise a very reasonable and believable plot. The writing is excellent.

Taken all in all it is an excellent story.

Hey, I only found this site this week,(via a google search). Your works were the first I navigated to, and I am reading them avidly. Plot, storyline, and timing are all excellent. A few typos and fragmented sentences, but nothing a different set of eyes by a competent proof-reader wouldn't catch and correct.

In answer to your query concerning Sigurd's past, I think knowing more of his clash with the Falcons, either in the form of flash-backs, or even as a stand alone would be great. Plan on reading the balance of the work here on FF, and hope to see more soon.

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed this story very much. First, because I think there are much too few really good stories centered around the Clans. This one, I think, really gets the Crusader Wolves in character. Second, because I miss someone like Ulric Kerensky: formidable Warrior and formidable politician, able to get anyone to do what he wants them to without telling them. Third, while this story is in some aspects some kind of mirror of Phelan Kell's first meeting the Clans, it is yet different, because of the main protagonists.
What I would still like to know about Sigurd is how he came to dispise all mercenaries, because I do not think something like that can be put in genes ;) Some topic for a sequel, maybe?
Please write another part of Nebelung, I look very much forward to read and enjoy it (hope this review makes sense, English is not my native language)

Ah, yes, the politics.

Again, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". I love the shaky reconciliation between Akela and Sigurd. You captured (or more exactly 'preserved') the politics of BattleTech very well. It's a nice cliffhanger for part three. I will wait with great anticipation of what will come in part three.

A good chapter, a good fight... Sigurd was beaten, wow... Unexpected, but that is the duty of the writer is it not?

I am glad your story has not reached an end yet, continue and it shall be appreciated by all the authors here.

The story is progressing well, good development of the characters... finally some more light on Akela...

As for the flashback? Is it good for the story? care less about the readers in that event, if it is necessary or even just helpful to elaborate upon Sigurd's character, then do it.

I didn't see this one coming.
I knew somebody would smell Sigurd's plan, but I never guessed it would be Akela. Gunnar was my first choice. Then any of Sigurd's star mates. Akela was always supportive of Sigurd (like Natasha to Phelan). Good job keeping it a secret.

I should have reviewed earlier, but office work kept me from reading your updates. Of course I would like to see Sigurd's past. It would make the whole setup complete. Go for it, I will wait with great anticipation.

And I sincerely forgive you for the delay. As for your chapter, I say it was good. Wow, it's late, I better go, I have WASL tomorrow and it is math. But I love the story so update as soon as possible. I think a flashback chapter would be a good addition to the story. I say:

Great update. A bit digging into Sigurd's past, which added depth into the storyline. A downchapter is nice if played at the right time. Now the question is: when , or if, Sigurd is going to remember who he really is. I guess we readers are at the mercy of the author to find it out.

Sigurd has clearly become somebody that he was trying to destroy, and I wonder if he still stay true to his initial intention. If he's still undercover, then he is doing a mighty good job.

The whole set reminds me of 'Miami Vice' where Richie told Sonny "There's deep, and then there's 'Which way is up?'" I wonder if Sigurd has reached this point.

And it's always nice to see Gunnar getting a beating. Some people just can't understand languages other than pain. Sad but true.

Black Wolf and Nebelung are like 2 sides of a coin. One side tells the story of a Clanner among Spheroids, the other one is the exact opposite. It's very nice to see how they struggle to fit in their new environment and to "reset" their moral standard that they had upheld all their lives.

It's hard for the Clansmen to take order from a freebirth, an ex-bondsman no less, and it's entertaining to see every one of them tried to defy Sigurd, just as an act of superiority. It looks like Gunnar's going to flip at some point, and I am anxious how.
