Wow. To be honest, I never really took that scene very much into perspective until you pointed it out like this. It totally made me see Misty and her thoughts at that time in a different light. I especially liked the gymshippy part (whee I was really happy when I read this and knew it to be brock/misty stuff..they're so rare around the fandom! you added in, and the whole sentence about Misty treating Ash like her twin, and Tracey like her older brother got to me. Well done!

Man, now I wish I'd seen the second movie, 'cause I'd like to slap Misty and tell her to take some initiative and save the world herself. But I dunno. But it was cool, kinda tangy (I like that word). Tangy in that she wanted Ash's booty awake so she could tell someone else she liked him. Maybe it's more like spicy than tangy. Either way, it's pretty b-damned cool. Sorry for my ramble, it's 5 am.
