Very intriguing. But I confess, I'm very confused. What is so invaluable about a private letter Snape wrote but never sent to Harry? Granted, it's 3 a.m., so simple brain exhaustion could have something to do with it, but I'm having trouble grasping that.

I do so love a mystery! My only complaint is that your opening chapter was so short! Great but short. Doors have so many meanings - closed, open, or in some mannor one state changing to the other. Wonderful lead in for your story. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
