This has got to be one of the cutest and most awesomely-written stories I've ever read. I loved it. Especially the part where Vaan is talking to Larsa at the end, hahaha. Despite his denseness, I could totally see him saying something along the lines of staring at her just enough to make her happy. How sweet. You should write more LarsaxPenelo! =D

This... this was just terribly... terribly *cute*... It did feel a bit naughty at first for Penelo to begin having any pangs for the precocious little Solidor. But it was executed so well, so innocently, that it leaves the reader with warm fuzzies. (His innocent adolescent nervousness seemed contagious.)You know Larsa would totally approach a first love with the same intensity he does everything else. It makes sense for Penelo to feel oddly towards him due to his strange maturity for his years. (How many of us fangirls are going to hell for the same thing, after all?) x3

Aw, short cakes! XD I think the term "wretchedly adorable" definitely suits him. He's so CUTE. I was right. It IS Harry Potter all over again. (tries to scrub her brain)

This was love. (cuddles them) You are not allowed to give me any more new pairings. This is sirius biznes! I think my favorite part was Larsa's bluntness. It makes me remember what it was like to be twelve. Oddly, pleasantly. oO;

And I'll finish with a "SO CUTE!"

How very like a 12 year-old to look forward to 13 to solve their problems. XD He's so cute, I want to squish his cheeks!

Oh wow. I didn't review when i said I would. I feel a bit awful on my part. But I will say, this IS my new favorite story. I am indeed impressed with your writing skills, your character writing (Especially Larsa. He is extremely hard to write from what I hear), and your ability to draw in the audience because of the intense situations. I must say, good job. No, SPLENDID JOB! I'm very impressed.

Oh, Vaan. XD The thing with "stare at her just enough" was funny to me.

Larsa's a Charming-Gentlemen-in-Training! I love how it alternated between Penelo's feelings (he'll get over me eventually) and her guilt and her disappointment and her guilt over the disappointment, and Larsa's determined and trusting attitude that she's going to have to realize her love for him someday.

Reading this, I realized how racist this game is when it comes to chocobos. Oh, ONLY the yellow ones can be tamed?! The black ones are the attacking ones. I think the implications are clear!

Man, I don't know how I missed this! Read it all at once though and I have to say that it's wonderful! I loved Larsa's determination, and I do hope the little twelve year old holds to his words. A sequel would be absolutely awesome! You have no idea. Yay! Definitely yay!

And so it ends-- but on such a lovely note! ::sigh:: Poor Vaan doesn't have a chance in the world of getting the girl while a devious Solidor's lurking about... and I can't wait to see what future shenanigans you throw Penelo and Larsa in. XD I look forward to future efforts, dear heart!

I hope your sequel will be about Larsa as a grown man..like its based eight years after this one or something (He'd be 20) and he's looking for a wife...I dunno..I had a story like that in mind though to write myself ^_^.

Oh Penelo, even if you are going down to the land of smoke and brimstone when your life is over and done, at least you and a certain Lordling will have acheived that happy ending...

... And, mayhaps a particular author will choose to elaborate on the progressed road to that happy ending by way of sequel; wink, wink... ;)

Still, the conclusion, Vaan's pestering (in addition to his subsequent advice XD), Penelo's mace-wielding state of ire, and the reality that everything Larsa really does seem so easy, was love! Kudos to your stunning depiction of Larsa/Penelo! :D
