| GHfan1985 2007-01-29 ch 1, | abuseWOW! Great job. Thanks for sharing. I am off to see if you have written any other fics. Loved it. Maryann |
| IrishUnicorn 2007-01-08 ch 1, | abuseThis is very good considering it's your first fic. My favorite parts of Alias were always the mother/daughter relaionship between Sydney/Irina. And I would have loved it if they could have continued that with Nadia/Irina. A full scope of what Nadia really thought of her mother would have been wonderful. I liked the way you portrayed it with your fic, though. It's the next best thing. You didn't sugarcoat anything. Nadia knows who her parents are and what they've done, but she's excepted them as her parents regardless. Sydney is the only one, in my opinion, that loved her unconditionally, and given time, I think Jack would have been the same way.(You described him perfectly, by the way.) I kinda like this as a stand-alone fic about Nadia. But I wouldn't say no to another chapter, or you could just post it as another fic. Either way, I look forward for more from you. |
| Muddy Poodle 2007-01-07 ch 1, | abuseWell, I think it's brilliant, especially for your very first one. I loved the details about the photographs and Emily Sloane. The opening to the story with the prayer at the orphange was heartfelt and a perfect way to introduce Nadia, whom I normally don't like, by the way. But I like her in your story; she's got lots of soul. =] Your summary emphasizes Nadia, and your first chapter emphasized Nadia also. If you want to write another chapter on Sydney, I think that's fine. But my immediate impression is that this is a Nadia story. Having a whole chapter from Sydney's point of view on herself and her feelings toward Irina (not her POV on Nadia and Irina) seens a bit out of place. My suggestionn is that if this story is truly a Nadia story and you still want a chapter from Sydney, do it so she also analyzes the relationship between her mother and Nadia. Happy writing and I look forward to reading more! |
