abuseFor you, I joined the-site-which-must-not-be-named. I'll have you know I resisted joining for the 8 years of my fanfiction addiction. Feel very honored.

I applaud your writing, as it is not only in an lesser (but great) fandom, but because your writing drew me in, and made me feel the angst. Eiji's sister-well, we know they had had a close relationship, but I don't think it was ever explored. It rarely is in fics. May I borrow this in my very much pending fic?

The only part I found confusing was this bit: Now she knew what her father’s eyes might have looked like that last night.
What last night? It is implied that Eiji's father objected greatly, but why was his father affected so strongly?
Anywho, thank you for sharing, and your time.

abuseA very nice and short story, down to the point and almost hurting with the ignorance of Eiji's sister. I would have never thought that one could write a story from this point of view, but it is possible, of course! :) BF is so tighly woven that one can easily forget all the others that aren't involved with the events around Ash and Eiji and can only muse what happens to their friends and beloved ones.
I also like your style in wording and telling circumstances, especially the short paragraph when Eiji is wheeled out and his sister's perception of her surroundings changes suddenly and she realizes things like the dress or how loud it is actually.
Thank you for sharing this fiction. :)

abuse... oh my god.

This is absolutely stunning. Seriously, it's such a pleasure to read, both simple and utterly heartbreaking in the same stretch-- we don't get to see much of his sister, but you've done such a great job fleshing out her character. The entire family's, actually. Small details like the dress Eiji's mother wore, the wheelchair, the sunshine, the hand that doesn't shake...

And the end, what a way to shatter the heart. Man.

You've written a beautiful, emotional piece. Definitely going on my favorites.

abuseI really like this. The viewpoint is fresh and unique - I like that you managed it without adding names or details that aren't in the original. It's a beautiful little glimpse into everything we tend to forget about Eiji. And the end! Those last paragraphs say so much while giving almost nothing away. Excellently done. ^_^ Please write more for this fandom.
