Great Story, It was heartbreaking, and it felt very real since I can remember very clearly the nights me and my Dad spent sitting on the porch, in the middle of January, because of the Croup.

Poor little Dean, of course he took the brunt of all the illnesses instead of Sammy.

Really touching story, well-written. Poor Dean with Croup and also poor John wanting to give his sick son what he wants but cannot get anymore. Heart-braking

Aww man, that was so sad. Poor John - he gets bashed a lot in these fics but this really shows what he must have gone through trying to bring up those boys alone - how desperate he must have felt at times, how lost and inadequate.

I was completely suprised and shocked by this fic. I normally HATE Wee-chester fics BUT I really enjoyed this story and was extremely touched by the way Dean was so vulnerable and helpless. It was nice to see someone taking care of him, instead of him taking care of others! I just want to applaud you on this story, I really loved it. Dean crying "Mommy" killed me and not to mention I cried.
So thank you for this fic. I really appreciated it and am beginning to appreciate Wee-chester fics...THANKS TO YOU!! I plan on reading other stories of yours!! :)!
