I had wondered for a long time since seeing this episode if the Ancients had recovered John & Radek's bodies, and if Liz got to say goodbye. This was so poignant and so in character for both Liz and John.

Please do write more in this genre. You seem to have a talent for it.

I thought this was greta, beautifully written, with all these little hints of relationships and times to come. I loved the sentence, 'As if their deaths were not permanent, and they would join her again someday, and then she would truly know them.' Made me feel all warm inside, kinda nostalgic, but I don;t know why.
Anyway, great one shot and I thought you captured Elizabeth's emotions and John's character brilliantly!

I've seen people talk about what if they survived but I think it's more poignant not to have the happy ending, to have her see them like this, making the relaity more evident to her. It's sad, moving, but ultimately fulfilling to see her say goodbye to them. More so for me because it's also gen and Radek gets a consideration, too. Very well done.

Very poignant, and it has a full-circle kind of feel to it--they gave their lives for her, and she gave her life so that they would have a second chance to live. In the end she did get to awaken them from that "deep, dreamless sleep". Very well-written story, and it presents a new angle to "Before I Sleep". Good job!
