Reviews for: The Sacrifice

I personally believe Byakuya genuinely and deeply loved (perhaps still loves) hisana. BUT i've always appreciated a darker take on things so I rather enjoyed this fic. pretty twisted and unlike byakuya in my opinion but a very nice change of pace from normal fics.

kudos.

It makes sense and yet it does not. The tale is very well written and I actually did entertain the brief thought that yes, Byakuya really felt this way, that he was as far removed from humanity as many other shinigami (Kurotsuchi, anyone?). A very provocative story... *goes off to mull over it*

Actually...Hisana died cuz she was sick. Anyways. I liked the story. THere weren't any mistakes. =) Well...except minor ones but those don't count. Thanks for posting! =)

Well, I found that rather interesting. I never thought for a moment that Byakuya could kill Hisana that way, but now that it's said...I rather like it (in a really evil, sad sort of way). Very good idea, and very well-written story. I loved it!

Holy crap. This is creepy. It's not even that far off the mark. I mean, the way you've put it, it's something that's completely possible in the Bleach-universe. *shudders*

You'd wonder how Byakuya keeps to himself all this time.

Thanks so much for the review, and thank you so much for liking it! I know what you mean about OCs not being enjoyable, and I'm glad I've made it okay for you so far. Got to get writing the next chapter eh? :)

This was a rather interesting read, I don't think Byakuya is a cold-bastard as some so quietly said, he's just doesn't like to get attached to much...well I could go on a tirade about this.

Well this was a rather interesting idea, Sebonzakura asking for a sacrifice to allow Byakuya to achive his bankai very, very interesting. The way this was written was so good that it made me picture it, the lack of diologue also made this perfect because it will have indeed marred what you were trying to do, it was a real different way to see how Hisana died.

Though I don't think Byakuya will do that he still has a heart, very deep down but it's still there, but still this is an amazing outlook

This is a very interesting concept... and it was INCREDIBLY dark and rather horrifying o-o; I think dialogue may have killed the "theme" so over all, it works really, really well. Kudos. I think I like it.

Wow. To me, Byakuya was a person who could hide his feelings very well. He never seemed cold to me. To me, he seemed like someone who just didn't want to get attached anything that might hurt him if it was taken away. That's probably why he acts as if he doesn't care about Rukia. But he confessed later that it was a promise to his late wife. I loved the fact that the emotionless older brother of our main heroine actually had a secret love story he kept hidden behind that 'cold' mask of his. But this story was an entirely different look on Hisana's death. Even though I don't exactly support it, it's written very well. It's hard to write an opposition to your own, and probably the general society's opinions. Kudos to you! ^_^ It was very sad, very depressing, very real and very well-written. But Byakuya really wouldn't be such a cold and heartless person. But you portray is "supposed other self" so well! Good work! ^_^
