Absolutely WONDERFUL!! Your characterization is one of the best that I've ever seen, and I love the way you captured Kitten's thoughts. I must admit, however, that my personal favorite scene was the dialogue where it was insinuated that Daine and Numair were -canoodling.- I nearly fell out of my seat in mass bouts of hysterical laughter. The sea turtle bit nearly did me in... :)

The only thing that could possibly make this better is a chapter of what Numair was thinking when Daine was transported by the Kraken. I love a good bit of angst followed by a happy ending! Just think how lovely you have the potential to make it. *happy sigh*

You know I've always liked the Kraken, He is cruel but has a wonderful sense of humor. I think that I will add this story to my favorites just because of the way you portrayed the Kraken.(Its also a very good story)

That was so good! Amazing! But what happened to the kraken? Did he get his mate? I feel so bad for him. All alone. :( What happens??

Well. I have several things to say about this story. Of course I liked it, but I'm going to expand on that for a change. You filled in a gap between two books very neatly. All the characters are very in-character. I like how you portrayed and gave more depth to lesser-known characters, such as Harailt. Given what you said about the troubles with writing speech correct to the time period, you did a very good job of it...it bothers me when I see too many modern colloquialisms and ways of speaking in stories which take place in the past (well, more or less). There is actual plot to this story and character development, not just romantic fluff, which gets a bit tiring to read all the time.

So overall, it was a pleasure to read. Well done!
