What a unique and touching angle on the story! I'm so the Elphaba girl, but I know a gem when I read it!

Oh, Glinda-angst! May I never tire of you, Glinda-angst. Never ever. :O I think you did get the point across with this, even with having to pare it down.

(See, I was under the impression that purposefully achieving 100,0 words was, in fact, AN AWESOME THING. If it were me, I'd have done the same thing AND taken a screenshot of the wordcount AND drawn happy faces all over the screenshot in Photoshop AND shown it to all my friends. So.)

:D I am excited that you are still intending to finish this! I, uh, might never have said this before or anything, but your drabbles are pretty much the best.

And this one comes across as painfully true. If Elphaba ever were driven so far as to try praying, she'd think of it exactly like this. And the way you build a sort of suspense quietly in only a few words and then turn it around at the last sentence is quite skillful. It is! :o

May I say that this seriously reminds me of "Lovely Ladies/Fantine's Arrest" from Les Mis.
I love this one.

*squee* I love it, I love it, I love it! It's just adorable, like the beginning of a crush. It's also always nice to see how the whole City of Emeralds thing happened, because it was never even hinted at before.

Ok, I was torn between excitement and sadness when I read this. Sad because, well, Glinda died alone. The poor thing. Excited because I was thinking about how maybe, when Glinda sings, "The wicked die alone", she might be singing about herself and all the wicked things she's done. The only thing that had been missing was the dying alone part. But here you are.

I love your writing, it's so addictive. Good job on this one, no matter how cynically angsty. Which I still love. It's almost as addictive and awesome as coffee.

This was good, very eloquent. I like the way you tied in the first line to the last, and not predictably, either, which is always a relief. Good job.

Ok, I've FINALLY caught up! If I had the time, I'd give you a review for every one, but as my library is closing right know, I'll just have to leave it at 'Cushion the Blow' is my favorite so far.
