Beautifully executed. And I *loved* that last paragraph with the image of redemption. Christianity is so wonderful in that way. In any case, really liked this.

wow. I was entranced! Of course at first I tried to make the nameless man Mal...it's a slow brain day for me. I absolutely loved the images you've created in this story. All I can say is wow!

Very good story. I loved the flow of it. I hope it is right to assume the fairy tale paralleled his life story. The ending was my favorite :):)
