A good story. You portrayed the characters well. Great job.

I was surprised to see this happen while they were young. And it in fact changed my views of all the characters. As much as I love star wars, there are many things I question, and I like finding fanfictions because it helps see things in a different light.

I find it brings something new and very good for the mind

Here, what I loved most, was that Obi-wan and Khaneir listened to the force and actualy found themselves feelings its answers and following its will somehow. While still following their own free will. If I'm making any sense lol.

I simply loved your story. So thank you for writing it and sharing it with us.

Fantastic story and wonderfully romantic. The ending was perfect, i liked the way Kenobi and Khameir changed colours via their bond, i liked the way Qui-gon acted..

All in all a great story i will be reading once more just because its simply that good

I've read a few of your stories, and I'm very impressed. This is a pairing that I wouldn't have ever found probable, but after reading your stories I find myself wishing that there were more of the same. Your writing style is marvelous, and quite a breath of fresh air on this site. Keep up the good work!

Very well written, and so prettily wrapped up :)

You brought up a theme that is not often handled in Star Wars fanfiction - leaving the Temple and surviving it with flair without having to go over to the dark side... I guess that even the darksiders do not survive it with flair. Khameir and Obi-Wan's relationship was surprisingly healthy. Did Yoda see it all coming? Because I'm certain he saw the bond.

Thanks for writing, do it again! :P

First words that come to mind are awesome and wonderful.

The second are oh Sith, I should have been asleep long ago - but it was worth every minute and every page.

Your story is outstanding - I shudder at the though of what it might have been in less skilled hands.

I like your style of writing, it is a very peculiar story. I don't like sad endings, but I guess it is the only ending that would have worked. Keep up the good work, I'd like to read from you again.

Oh, OW, the severance ceremony is just painful. "The hole it left wasn’t quite as big as expected" is lovely, though, and I was right, this does wrap things up in a way that works. I enjoyed this story very much-thank you for writing and posting it!

*He could probably tease the man to death if he tried* - Ooh, NICE image. I'm curious as to why Orn Free Taa's aide seemed to recognize Obi-Wan. And while I'm not sure I quite buy Qui-Gon's reaction to Obi-Wan in this chapter, I have faith it will make sense in the future...
Fhulhi the Crazy 3/4/07 . chapter 11
This was a wonderful story to read. There aren't as many Obi/Maul fics out there as I would like. Even with that, you have a nice way of handling the characters and the plot. Good work!

"Khameir smelled of dry earth and warm stone, like a desert shortly after sunset." - Beautiful image. I am intrigued by this turn of events.

Hee, itchy horns. Very nice conversations, and "there always was a way out." So matter-of-fact. Obi-Wan's reaction to his own attraction rings very true.

Looking forward to more!

(Not sure about "bad egg," though...seems very colloquial for the Star Wars 'verse...)
Carmarthen 1/29/07 . chapter 5
"I have no idea if he argues just because he likes the challenge or if he actually disagrees."

Hee! So appropriate. Looking forward to more!
