Amazing. This was very well-written, and it was almost enough to make me tear up.

very few people use the term "loved" in past tense when they are talking about a deceased lover recently. not when they truly mean it. ~shrugs~ it's just a thing, too painful i suppose.

This is very, very good. Even though I haven't (yet :P ) read that Spiral fic you mentioned, or maybe because I haven't, I really like that this isn't 'just' a one-shot, you know?. Because there's so much background in there as well and it makes a difference.

I hope you can make sense of what I'm trying to say ^_^

I... I really have no words to describe this. The climax was breathtakingly... heartbreaking, it really is. I can feel Raidou's grief- and it's so real.

I'm very happy for this happy ending. :) Thanks for writing this.

Oh my goodness that was amazing!
You put just enough detail in for us to make a picture in our minds, but not so much that we were apparently supposed to know the environment forever.
The emotions and surrounding were so amazingly described, and you went right into the characters of Naruto that are over looked far too much!
Such an amazing job!!

What a sad story, Ki. I really liked the idea of Genma cleaning Raidou's house, and all the notions that went with it - very neat link. Genma was very well characterized (of course!) and Raidou was so precisely and sadly described, it really achieved the purpose you had there! Best of all though, I loved Suzume (obviously!) because she was picture perfect. The part where she sticks her tongue out at Raidou's wife's portrait is inspired, seriously. because she would, and she did, and I loved that. The contrast between her and Genma; and in the end how Raidou responds to Genma was very telling - and I think my favourite part is when Genma gave him hell over why, exactly, he'd chosen her death to give up over. Great theme.

yay for this one ki! absolutely!

Ya gonna sequel this? ;-; I feel bad for Genma...you get over grief, you don't get over love.

Ki, I can't find the right words for this. The grief in that house is so bitter and palpable, and the weight of Genma and Raidou's history together. The anguish and despair and tiny struggling flame of hope underneath is so powerful. I was weeping hard before I came to the end.

And as usual your lyrical descriptions of people and emotions and surroundings flow so beautifully. I love this descriotion: "Raidou sitting in silent, frozen agony", and Genma shattering the countertop, and his forcing himself to be cold instead of sympathetic. I love his realization that maybe silence is the best thing he can offer, and then his going on to offer instead memories. I love them and this story, and you for writing it. Thank you. I hope I will always be the Genma to your Raidou.
