This is written very well. It stumbles and is uncomfortable in all the right places. It reminded me a little of Stephen King's "Misery" when the main character is inbetween conciousness and sleep. I'm not really sure what metaphor you're referring to with this, but I enjoyed it anyways. I found one little typo. "The flames that burnt the a certain sin into ashes..." I don't think you meant to have the a in there. I may be wrong though. Great vocab, nothing too redundant in this. Nice job!

Oh... That was fantastic! I adore the way you use descriptive words... It makes it so...interesting, which is a change from a lot I see around here. Dissapointment hasn't really been present in my reading of fics for a while now, probably because of the fics 'Burn' and ' Enter Destination.' Anywho, This was also very sad. Tore my heart to pieces, and I wanted so bad to just give someone a hug.

Eh? No reviews yet? Manga-based fics never seem to get as many...Anyways, this was wonderful. Poor Ling! I've always felt there were interesting parallels between him and Roy, and they came out clear in this. For some reason, though, reading this made me feel the most sorry for Ran Fan. Loyalty has its drawbacks. (Hm...she's a lot like Riza in that regard.) Well, rambling done--very nice work!
