I really liked it a lot, and, I mean, normally I'm a super advocate of lots of excessive romance, but this made me happy without it. Like, excessive romance would have been out of place here, and I think the way you've written it fits these two very nicely.

I encourage you to write more! And I hope very much so that you do, because if you ever write more about Shizune and Kabuto... Well, to put it mildly, I'd be very interested in reading it.
