Wow!it's like devil and angel or davinci code with the twisted idea of ol baby. Why dont you finish this?you dont think to abandon this,do you?anyway. You made mistake with misplacing her and his many times and talking bout the characterization,i think its satisfied me,not major ooc like when one of charas is weak,namely goku,fufufu,i love goku. The plot itself is good,no complain.you know,perhaps it's bcuz i have read the books by Dan Brown that i dont get annoyed by the whole cristian stuff. I get easily annoyed if something concerns religion even if it is not my own faith,hew :3.ah,what am i talking bout?tch whatever.

Alright, after reading this, I have to tell you that you've gained a new fan of this story. AU's can go two ways, and yours is definitely going the right way. I'm very interested to see what's going to happen to the characters, and I must say, you're doing an excellent job of portraying them. :) I have to say though, and this is rather selfish, but it there perhaps going to be a little more Gojyo laced throughout this? Just curious. ;) He's my fave, so I had to ask. :) But I'm really enjoying this fic, and just wanted to comment on how great it was. I've seen that you haven't updated in awhile, but I hope there's more coming. :)

Ooh, that smug bastard Homura's gearing himself up for a bloody nose, big time.

The tension in this chapter really had me wound up, and the balance of quiet and touching moments throughout was nice, too.

And the ending! Gah! I can't wait to find out what Sanzo and Hakkai are going to do. *wrings hands*

You said you were unsure about this chapter, but I don't think you have to worry at all. It's a great chapter; you've got readers on the edge of their seats, and it's an excellent turning point in the plot.

The only thing I'm a little unsure of is Sanzo's reaction at the end, when Goku fell ill. He was so furious, ready to commit bloody murder on Goku's behalf:

"He was going to make sure that the boy was secure and cared for before he beat the answers out of Homura. He had to know, and the man was the only link to solving this puzzle."

And then he just kind of deflates:

“It doesn’t matter. Let’s just go see Homura so we can head to bed.”

This isn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, he's frustrated, and of course he knows enough to keep his fury in check, because in the long run flying off the handle isn't going to help (not to mention there's this weird, unsettling tension between them that makes me suspect Homura has more control over him than Sanzo would like to admit... you've really, really got me curious on this point!), but it might be more effective/IC if Sanzo had kept a sharper focus to his emotions? I don't know. In does work in context. I suppose it's just odd seeing Sanzo so powerless, you know? But that's the beauty of an AU! :)

I was so happy to see the update notice in my inbox! The story is just as engaging as always, your Goku is adorable, and my heart aches for poor Gojyo being left behind. :(

I feel lucky to be able to read this.I thank you for posting it i don't care how long it takes this story is great and i'm going to read it again to help me feel better i do so enjoy reading your stories all the time so by all means take your time to get the theme set the way you want it.

Man, you really made Homura a complete bastard in this one...Holy Man, my **. What's with the Vatican Officials? And...Goku is really remembering something?

"I felt I wasn't getting it right" you did fine. This chapter was filled with mystery and that played catalyst to pulling at your readers "need to know more" strings. Your writing and characterizations has transferred from chapter to chapter, all the while keeping its wonderfulness. The only thing that I am able to pick out though is the that I feel I have yet to learn of anything new, but if what you wanted was to hold us up into suspense then I guess this would have been effective on your part.

The whole chapter was very entertaining but towards the end, particularly, I found was more so than the rest. You've ended this segment brilliantly and have certainly put a new twist on the plot. I wonder what they will do now?

Okay...it's NOT 2:30AM...it's 2:47AM, which, I suppose, might be considered just as insane, but please bear in mind that my hour of madness is 4AM, when crap like "Diego Sanchez" and "Battle Twister" gets created.

ANYWAY! Man, I've missed you, chica! I couldn't remember whether or not I had read this chapter already, and nearly flagellated myself when I realized that I hadn't. (>_< Don't hurt me! I'm funny! DX)

Sanzo's "What the hell did you say to him?" line is, by far, my favorite Sanzo line ever. Mostly because it's the most impressive show of 39 attachment that WASN'T invented by a fangirl. I love how you integrated that!! ^_^

And Homura...I used to like him, you know...in a masochistic, sadistic sort of way...but now I want his head on a pike in my lawn. ("pike" as in stick, not fish...though fish is an intriguing concept. *squints into the ether*)

Sanzo was so cute with his "shut up, I didn't say it!" lol. Goku's kinda (really) dumb not to be more suspicious of Homura than he is, though, because he should know there are no women allowed in Vatican City. HE'S LYING TO YOU, GOKU. I do love that Sanzo in this AU is so touchy-feely with his monkey. (And I just realized, Gojyo didn't have ANY lines in this chapter, hahaha.)

Let's see some more of this. :d I want to know the sordid story of Goku's childhood!
