rye2gin 2009-10-16 . chapter 1I can't help crying out when reading the story. It's a tradegy, but in the beginning it seems so romantic .I love the gentle maner of my saguru. He loves kaito so deeply and I couldn't imagining how he can live saddly when her beloved boy left him alone.
Anyways, this fiction is magnificent,I enjoy myselft in it totally.I expect 3more works created by you,and thanks thanks again. |
Shiny Pichu-chan 2009-09-02 . chapter 26Ahahaha~! Finally I've finished reading! It was a long trial of blood, sweat, tears, and more tears. Haha. But really, fantastic job on this. I'm always up for a good character death and loads of angst. And being only a recent fan of Saguru/Kaito, after reading all these I now seem to love this pairing more than life itself. Is that creepy? I think so.
ANYway, wonderful job. It's sad to see such a lack of fanfiction or even fans for this pairing. But I'm glad I was able to find something. Hope you'll be writing more on the pairing =D |
Dawn of Winter 2009-07-13 . chapter 26Would I sound sadistic and morbid if I said that I enjoyed ti very much? I suppose so, but it doesn't really matter if I really enjoyed it, I imagine. I enjoyed it very much. You write wonderfully. |
Rosslyn 2009-02-15 . chapter 26I both love and hate this story *cries* It's pure torture, sweet torture. You do these things most brilliantly, and I really do hope to see more of your HakuKaito stories (sweeter ones hopefully...) |
Ceirwy 2008-06-15 . chapter 25Wow! what a twist on the canon story! |
ObsessedConanFan 2008-05-24 . chapter 24 OMG...I can say nothing more this just scares me and I wished I had never read it...but it was good. |
Saguru 2008-03-02 . chapter 23I really loved these two stories.
They were perfectly written andfull of emotions.
It seems like they show two sides of a coin, and they fit together perfectly.
It was very nicely done and Iliked reading ho the both of them tried to cope with a reality, where the other one isn't there anymore.
I liked both of the parts very much, but if I had to decide, I would say I liked the second part a little bit more.
The first one is absolutey sad, you feel his pain and despair and in the end you just get hit again by this table set for two.
You just get hit bythe harsh reality that there is only one person left, where there should be two of them.
The second one is as sad as the first one, with Kaitos helpless attempt to find matching socks, but with those two kittens in the end you get at least a small piece of hope, a small ray of light in this overwhelming darkness.
And in you final words of the second story it is just, as if a little bit of peace rests now in this apartment.
Kaitos soul won't stop hurting, ad he won't stop missing Saguru or stopping living with a ghost, as you named it, bu at least, his heart will perhaps start bleeding.
And at least the kittens are no longer lonely.
Really, I absolutely love these two stories.
Great job! |
Saguru 2008-03-02 . chapter 22Wow, this story was kind of... weird.
I liked the idea of putting the different fairytales into it and it was kind of funny reading how he travelled throught them.
But I have to say, that this story would have worked with almost every character. It wasn't necessary for it to be Saguru in the role of the "hero".
Additionally, I would have liked to know what exactly happened, what exactly was the reason for his death.
Because, the mirrors seemed to me as pars of the fairytale world as well. And only from this anti-coagulate one wouldn't die, would he?
So what about theapple?
But the apple isn't sharp enough.
Ok, he definitely would suffocate from it, but the forensic team member told us otherwise...
Mhm... just a little bit too much mystery.
I would have liked a clearer resolution of what really happened.
But nevertheless, a nice idea ^^ |
Claude le noctambule 2008-02-14 . chapter 23Wow, two stories at once? Thanks for this Valentine day's gift for all your stories' lovers. X3
(ponders)
Yeah, it's easy to understood why you've published them together, after all, those two stories are the two side of the same coin, pairing or theme.
Hum... I you ask me which one I've enjoyed the most, I wouldn't answer 'cause I wouldn't know.
You've avoided the repetition and makes a variation with the same theme, and both stories bring a mature and bittersweet feeling.
The respective personnalities of the two character were wonderfully handled and I've loved how you've pictured as three-dimensionnal character, both of them have a life outside of their mutual love.
You've explored those lifes, developed their relationship in an unique way, it's not sappy cliché that we've seen countless times, in each story, it's a particular relationship with no equivalent.
The first one was interessing because it shows Saguru dealings with the loss without falling into madness or despair. And the alst sentence, so simple but so powerfull.*_*
The second one was... I don't know how to explain but... It looks like a tragedy, but in the same time, like Kaito's routine.
His pain is behind the surface, but in the same time, in the surface, in those little détails, those socks which refuse to match, this tea he's making, those two kittens he bring in his home...
(sigh)
I could add that I've loved particular little details, like how Kaito and Saguru get their respective role in the home, how Saguru was still hunting evidence to catch the kid after they've became lovers, how Kaito is sceptical when his relative and friends are accusing him of cutting himself from them, etc...
But I would conclude, in saying that I've trully, TRULLY enjoyed those two stories.^__^ |
Claude le noctambule 2008-02-10 . chapter 22A surrealist fary tale, filled with reference to...fairy tales?
Why not?XD
Hey, I've even get all the private joke(Snow white queen, sleeping beauty, Alice in wonderland twice). X)
Ok, it was not too difficult, but still...Xp XD
More seriously, well, I should said that I've enjoyed this one, since the beguining(wonderfully written ironic introduction by the way) and until the end(nice to be awaken from Saguru's dream and to feel the cold reality, but God, the alck of answer was frustrating).
It's a bit frustrating to have just clues and not a clear answer about what's happening in reality when we're looking at events through rose-colored glasses, but well, in opinion, it's an integral part of this story's weird appeal.
And it was nice to see fairy tales from an eerie perspective(it's one my little pleasure since I've watched princess tutu, I should admit).
(ponders)
It was just a dream, cause by a fairy tales's book, and in the blurry line between sleep and awake, Saguru, still trapped in his phantaisies, have dreamed this bottle in front of him, without caring about the content?
If I've guessed right, it's...an absurd and comic death suited to this story. XD
Oh well, in conclusion, I've loved this one.
(cough) It still looks like an original fiction more that a fanfiction for me, but since I would paid to read this kind of original fiction...(shrug)
Thanks for this pleasurable reading.^__^ |
 Claude le noctambule 2008-01-24 . chapter 21well, I should agree with the other reviewer...This one seemed a bit...Out of place, and I understood how someone who haven't read MW and IB would raises an eyebrow in front of that. Maybe that you should add a note stating that this story is a little AU in the universe of your epic? I dunno...^^;
And it's true that Saguru is a bit...well, absent of this one, despite the fact he's the main focuse of those deathfics.
(scratches his head)
That beeing said, it's still a well written story about obsession, possessiveness and jealousy.
Not your best one, in my opinion, but still a good one.
Godo luck with your others stories, deathfics or not.^_- |
 Saguru 2008-01-14 . chapter 21To be honest, I didn't like this chapter.
First of all, why is KID a seperate person?
And then, how is this "An exploration of death through a detective's eyes"?
Sorry, but this story is kinda strange in itself and I think, it doesn't really fit in the Finis-Stories.
But I'm nevertheless looking forward to your next chapter ^-^ |
Saguru 2008-01-14 . chapter 20Did you know I created an account only to sumbit a real review to your great story?
Well, I guess no, but now you do *grins*
I really do like your story and this chapter was one of my favorite ones! Well, at the beginning I thought it was very strange and creepy with the gem breaking and tossing out vines *shudders*
But than it became really interesting and the ending... wonderful! Really loved the way their relationship turned out to be and how Saguru got to Kaito, protecting him once again in his very own ways.. and nevertheless it's kind of a trade, so both of the will get something out of it.
And although he masked it as an agreemet it was just so cute ^.^ |
Claude le noctambule 2007-11-20 . chapter 20O..ok. Awesome, creepy and dark are nice euphemism for this one.O_o
It's always good to see Pandora's box getting a bit of love, but I should say...that it was pure genious to relate her to vampirism.
And I found the story funny in the beguining, wondering if this poor Kaito would endure the most ridiculous death in every stories of the fandom.XD;
Pandora taking possesion of Kaito's body was...creepy...and your awesome writing skills makes the scene more creepy...which is not a bad thing but...(shudders)
I'm such a sisie with physical pain.^^;
The aftermath with Toichi was very well down. Oh and...
"He hummed before his eyes fastened on a wrapped slab of beef, the fresh meat the most beautiful sight he had seen since he last broke into the girl's locker room."
This sentence was so funny and so worth of Kaito.XD
You've made a good job with Kaito dealing with her new...needs.
In fact, I've never read something as good about the subject since jeva's deathfics.^__^
Saguru's death was painful...but so tasty.
And I love how Kaito was desesperate enough to attempting CPR on his victim.
You've created a very interessing dilemna and a fascinating relationship between our thief and his half-british.
Like always, good job with the classical theme of immortality and how much it could be a curse.
And Toichi's ghost? It was an awesome idea.
Ok, in fact, it was one of my favorite stories of yours, and I wouldn't mind a sequel AT ALL.X3 |
Claude le noctambule 2007-11-19 . chapter 19Wow, wonderful job with the atmoshere in this one.O_o
It was so...powerfull, I was trapped in the scene until the last lines of the story.
To quote a german friend who had read your stories(but haven't reviewed them yet for what I know), you have a gift to makes your readers breathing with the characters, feeling the same taste, smelling the same odor, and shivering in the same way that them.
(God, I know my sentence is awfull but you've get what I means, right?^^; )
To be short, an awesome story... |
