That's a bleak moment there. I liked the imagery of the rain. There are a few run-on sentences and it's also a bit jarring the way the perspective switches from Lulu to Wakka. Good emotion though. :)

P.S. I don't think Chappu was actully engaged to Lulu (I think thats what you meant when she looked at the ring) because in the game Wakka said Chappu would propose to Lulu after they won the blitz cup and they never did.
