I thought your portrayal of Seth's way of dealing with the grief was beautifully expressed, and your way with the words in this story was really poetic and beautiful. Even if perhaps Sandy's reaction was a little weird (he was convincing Kirsten that Ryan was dead?? Shouldn't he as a parent desperatly be clinging to hope?), I loved Kirsten's reaction, how she wished it was Marissa, because since it was her son, honestly, that is what has to happen. I liked the way you described Seth's and Marissa's friendship. I thought it was a really good story overall. |

Seth stepping up and identifying the body does seem a little infeasible, but at the same time for me seems like something in character for Seth. He may act selfish and self-absorbed at times, but he's a character you can always count on in times of need. Very courageous. The music connection between Seth and Marrisa was touching, especially about him wondering which dead rock stars she had met. It's a lovely piece. |

The show dealt with Summer and Ryan's reaction, but Seth seemed to be busy comforting the two to let us see his reaction to Marissa's death. At the least, she did live next door to him since childhood, her detah must have affected him somewhat! Thanks for your story...it was a sweet and quite realistic way you portrayed Seth in dealing with Marissa's death. |
