The cleansing ritual was a neat idea, especially how the goblins turn it to their advantage for their wards. Kikki the elf is amusing. There a lot of really enjoyable moments along the way but the narrative does seem rushed at times with plot points appearing out of nowhere. For example, Hedwig seemed to suddenly appear in Harry's rooms at Gringott's, she goes off with letters & we don't hear anything of her again. I loved the 'trick' played on Malfoy regarding the Black inheritance. That was clever, as was the goblin diversion with a supposedly traveling abroad Harry. |
