A beautiful tribute to a dearly beloved character. (I felt sold short by the eulogy that Elizabeth gave. "No one complained to me about him?" Oh please.) This eulogy captured him perfectly, for who he was, instead of just his occupation. A real tearjerker. I can't imagine Rodney saying this so eloquently, though; but I'm sure that he thought it.

I think it was Rodney who told that. Anyway it is great to read:D

I can't speak for Elizabeth's eulogy because I have yet to hear it, even though I've seen the episode. Your words are the ones I'm going with. Nice job.

Obviously this isn't said by Shep or Elizabeth, but somehow I'm not sure I could picture Rodney saying it either, can't say why but... It's not Teyla and Ronon, nor anyone newer are out because they'd not remember him from the beginning. So, I like to imagine it's said by Dr. Steven Schwartz, Dr Dredd's OC of Carson's 2IC, it's more fitting for him to say somehow. Shame the writers don't really go for developing secondary characters like that, would have been nice to have someone else say something other than just Elizabeth's grief stricken attempt.

You have captured what was unique about Carson--he was the dreamer, the believer...the kind of person you would want to meet...would want to be. He will be sorely missed and can never be replaced.

why do they keep killing off the doctors? First janet and now carson? At least make one of them an Ancient already!

When you first offered the poem challenge, I was thinking of writing on that poem. Now that this ep happened, I'm glad I didn't. I know I already commented on this before, but good job with the eulogy we should have had...

*standing ovation* *cries* Poor Carson! Perfect, Tipper, absolutely perfect. I did notice when the funeral scene started, Rodney was walking back to the others from the casket, just before Elizabeth said her piece. I thought that Rodney definitely said a few words and this is exactly what I think he would have said. Thank you.
