I quite like the story.
Here you are able to show how his experiences from age 8 to 12, i will assume if your including the OVA's into this, how it would change his development.

It is light and serious at the same time, and its rare to see stories that focus on just Yuli, or Mia, or others. And allowing us to see how their writer sees the characters development (with out going off the deep end).

Good story and well done.

Other than my insane curiosity as to where that card actually came from (hand-delivered by Mia after she found it, dropped off by Anubis' ghost, etc.) I rather enjoyed this ficlet. I definitely liked the insight into what Yuli was up to as an adult, since I feel bad that he gets bashed / forgotten about so very often.

As for the card itself, it definitely struck a cord and that was evident, so well done there.

This is one of the best stories I've read. You don't see many good stories involving Yuli. I hope you do more.

Very well done Izzy. And different than your usual stuff. We rarely see you do a story with either Yuli or Mia, so this was a treat! And I hope that this reminds Yuli of that promise that he made years ago. Such promises are never to be forgotten in this crazy world that we live in.
