| Silver Warrior 2007-09-30 ch 9, | abusepretty amazing story. Ultimate Spider-man meets Slayer. Hey, twas a fun little read. Slayer's a good, interesting character and I loved him in "Hellfire and Brimstone". Dn't think he'll shine anywhere else nearly as much as he did there though. That story was just plain phenomenal. I'd be intersted in seeing a sequel to this. Maybe one that takes more recent events in Ultimate Spider-Man into account. |

| band20 2007-03-09 ch 6, | abuseHmm this was a good chapter, I really liked how Fisk got the attention of Spider-man. That was kind of a unique and I thought it was interesting that Elektra got brought along with Hotshot. I guess the evil bastard has good taste in women. That meeting with Fisk was kind of dull though but I have to admit it was unexpected and it went kind of smooth considering I would have thought that at the very least a small fight would have occured. Well now that Hotshot has Mary Jane, I can't wait to read the next chapter. Take it easy and I'll be reading more. |
| Shannon K 2007-03-08 ch 9, | abuseVery nice. I like how you took the Ultimate Universe, making it modern and up to date without loosing what it is that makes Spider-man, well, Spider-man. Hope you continue with your writing. Cheers! |
| X00001 2007-03-07 ch 9, | abusegreat chapter sad that the story ended i hope you next story is going to be as good or even better than this can't wait to see what happens next. |
| Tony 2007-03-06 ch 9, anon. | abuseI enjoyed this story immensely(think I spelled that right). Well thought out and the whole warrior and hero thing was really good. Like I have said before I liked how Spiderman was actually getting trained to fight instead of doing things on the fly. I always thought that Spiderman would be even more effective if he had some training. I liked how Peter feels more confident of himself. I really hope you have a sequel. Maybe a team up with Captain America? Just a suggestion or someone like that. |
| The Writer with No Name 2007-03-05 ch 9, | abuseAwesome ending, my friend. I'm sad to say I wasn't surprised to see Kingpin's reaction to Spider-Man's note. So much for gratitude. And I'm glad to see that Peter and MJ have made up. But I wonder if we'll ever see Slayer again? I guess that's another story. This was a great story; I'm sorry to see it end. Keep up the good work! |
| Mark C 2007-03-05 ch 9, | abuseI really enjoyed how you brought Vanessa back to Fisk and the note was so like Spider-Man. Kingpin deserved those barbs from Spidey, even though he brushed them off like he normally does. It made sense that Slayer would bring both May and Mary Jane to their respective homes. The little chat Peter and MJ had was sweet. My favourite part was when MJ asked Peter if he was going to read her a bed time story after he tucked her in for the night. Nice touch with that. Slayer and Peter saying goodbye was nice. It was funny how Slayer told Peter what he did with Elektra. Well, that is so like him. His parting words to Peter were excellent and Peter will definitely remember what Slayer had taught him. A great ending and I look forward to some more Spider-Man tales from you. |
| KaliAnn 2007-03-04 ch 9, | abuseI loved this chapter! It was awsome how you were able to combine a typical Spidey ending with a bit of Slayer's lifestyle. Now that Peter has found his warrior spirit and knows his path in life there's nothing he can't accomplish! |
| TDG3RD 2007-03-04 ch 9, | abuseA nice, fitting end to the story. I especially liked the note Spidey left for The Kingpin, and The Kingpin's reaction to it. The war between the two still continues on. The final part with Slayer and Peter was nice. Hope Jack, and Hotshot, show up again, whether it be in another Spidey fic or some other story. They were both good characters, be a shame not to read about them again. Anyways, great story, and keep up the good work! |
| GothikStrawberry 2007-03-04 ch 9, | abuseLooks like everyone is save for now and Peter has everything he needs to face the future. :) But I really liked the little 'love note' Spidey left for the Kingpin. And as through out this story the dialog between Spidey and Slayer made me smile. Anyway great story, slick. Keep up the good work. :) |
| jenskott 2007-03-03 ch 9, | abuseYou'd think the Kingpin would have learnt something from this ordeal. Nope. But at least he won't be bothering in the near future. The scene where Peter is watching over a sleeping MJ and then he talks with her is the best in this chapter. It was tender and emotional. Beautifully crafted. It was nice of Slayer erasing the memories of the women Hotshot had manipulated. I don't want specific details of what he did with Elektra, though. At elast Peter hasn't to get worry anymore now about the training or his motives for fighting. And it's good he realizes the old Parker's lucks isn't ALWAYSa sadistic, evil thing. :) In general I think you have done a good work with your first Spider-Man fic. I'll look forward to your next project. :) |
| jenskott 2007-02-28 ch 8, | abuseTalking about mayhem... Hoshot seriously didn't expect Peter showed up? What a dim-witt. And he thinks he knows Peter? Hah! Typical super-villainous arrogance. Now, it was said Hotshot had enhanced his victims' strength. It explains why the hits of a schoogirl or an old lady could beat so badly someone twelve times stronger than a normal human. I also suppose their endurance had been increased as well because they didn't got badly hurt or worse when the tossed them around (or when they were hitting him. He isn't invulnerable, but his skin is harder than usual). Ah, the kick on the groin. A timeless classic. :D Yes, Peter gets straight why he fights: it's his responsibility. If his enemy can't udnerstand that, he can't beat him. The scene of Peter hugging his girlfriend's limp body was touching. Really. :) |
| Tony 2007-02-28 ch 8, anon. | abuseNot much really to say except great chapter! I hope you keep writing. Granted I know this story isn't over yet but I'm hoping there is a sequel that Spidey trains even further with someone else or another story that refers to his training. |
| The Writer with No Name 2007-02-27 ch 8, | abuseAWESOME! It's so easy to goof on a final battle, my friend, but you pull it off nicely! It was so cool to see Peter turn Hotshot's soul-power against him, and both he and Slayer were in top form! Vendetta or not, Hotshot won't be recovering from THAT whuppin' anytime soon! I can't wait to see the last chapter! You rock! |
