In Boothby's case it is truly ghastly. He was one of the pillors of reason and stability amidst the occasionally bizarre Starfleet world of the artificial. Certainly those who had the chance to get to know him will miss him very much indeed. So he lived to be as old as he did without artificial medical aging stimulants? (That's not the same as occasional medications to treat a specific and temporary medical problem.)Tell, me why am I not surprised! He lived a natural lifestyle at its best. --Lilith Kayden
