I'm not your favorite Squiffie shipper, and honestly, this is probably one of the, um, (inserts sheepish fangirl grin) first times I'm reading a Squiffie fic. (gah! runs away) Anyway, I digress.
For being one of my first time, I sure am glad as hell I clickee on this fanfic button, because, gawd, Leon/Squall/whatever is SUCH A DORK here. I swear Yuffie's reaction was MY reaction, and I was like ZOMG what the hell are you trying to do you big balooka..and it took me a while before I realized he was CONFESSING!
it was so hilarious the second time i rewinded the scene and read it again and AGAIN and AGAIN that it hit me that..leon is being such a romantic goofball that i have to glomp him for his stupidity anyhow.
ahaha. i don't make sense do i. to cut the long story short, leon/squall/whatever's confession made me laugh like a goofball myself, and ..if there's anything else, it's the STRANGEST, most BIZARRE way i've ever seen a guy confess a girl. but then again, this IS squall/leon/whatever, and this IS the great ninja yuffie we're talking about that he's confessin to. so um, i guess, that'll explain why.
