Both Brimstone and Forever Knight were excellent series played by talented actors. Both ended rather ignominiously. No closure in Brimstone - we never find out if Zeke filled his quota and was redeemed. Or if his "employer" true to his reputation, cheated. Thewriters of Forever Knight did provide closure of a sort. But Last Night,the final episode, left a bad taste in the mouths of many viewers. And has spawned a great deal of fan fiction over the years as devoted fans tried to soften or at least find a loophole out of the final scene.

This work is well writen and appears true to both series. If completed it could provide a measure of closure to each of them. Alas, five years after the last update it's unlikely that will ever happen. A pity, but after only five reviews, I can see why the author let it die.

Moral of story - reviews are all the reward any fan fiction author gets. Knowing that someone else appreciated your work matters to most. So if you see something you like and would like it continued - review - lest it die like so many excellent works that have gone before.

I'm really enjoying your writting. I've bokkmarked your list and am going through all your stories. I only hope that you continue some of your works.

I'm assuming this will never be finished. Too bad.
