however, don't think that means you have to go and do angst all the time. chirpy stuff is good too, and you have some of the best chirpy material.

Like I said last time, I like your descriptive style. You say everything you need to to project a full picture, but not so much that I feel like I'm slodging through Dickens. And I'm sorry, but this is not angst. Angst implies a sort of, well, stupidity about it. In the characters and in the writing style. They always seem fake and shalow when writers atempt angst. And by that definition, this is NOT angst. I'm sorry, it's too well written, and too believeable. Deal. It's more, I don't know, pensive-slightly-depressing-descriptive-action...ish...thingy...
