Aw, I loved that. I should have known when I typed "Scotland" into the the search that something like this would come up. I miss Carson. He was my favorite character, and his niece is great and actually reminds me of me with an accent (I often throw my manga at walls when my fav characters die and was even tempted to throw my TV) Was there any particular anime she was reading? Spiky hair isn't much of a clue, lol :P

Anyway, as I said, this was great. Ronon is awsome, lol.

What a wonderful and touching story! I think it was a brilliant idea to pick the perspective of a young girl, Carson's niece, to tell the story and convey the emotion.

It worked very well, and the reaction of the girl was so understandable. Although the adults tried so hard to keep their composure, you could so obviously tell they weren't feeling any much different.

There will never be the like of Beckett again... *cheers, Carson!*

You told the story from the perspective of a 9 year old very well. Morgan wasn't too cutesy nor was she too precocious. I wasn't sure if I should be hopeful with her or sad for her at the very end.

Well done. Interesting to see a young reader and have it be Carson's niece. Nice touch with the five of them shoveling dirt on Carson's empty coffin. Here's to Ascended Beings. Long live Carson Beckett!
