Aw...so cute. I loved the symbolism of the necklace, aren't symbols fun? I've read New Years stories and "wishing on a star" stories but I have never come across one that combined the two ideas so perfectly like this. The dinner scene was very well described too...now I'm hungry. Excelently written, the perfected note to end the day on.
