I have just happened upon this story...and after the tears dried, I had to reread it for the enjoyment of knowing the happy ending...while GSR has sadly gone from some writer's radar, I am always happy to read such beautiful fiction about this couple who somehow managed to seep into our hearts...thanks for writing this excellent tale...it will become a treasured find for a long time to come...
