Reviews for No Splendid Phoenix Wings
Ginger 3/6/09 . chapter 1
I like it. I never thought about what the Doctor was thinking during his regeneration; but the way you've written it, it fits perfectly.

I'd never thought about how the Doctor would feel when he regenerated, but I think you've got a good idea...and the phoenix tie-in is perfect. Come to think of it, something like that *would* hurt. And the last line...wow. Poor Doctor :(
Aqua Mage 6/24/07 . chapter 1
Very nice. Poor Doctor...

"But then she asks, “Who are you?” and that hurts more." *sob* So sad! Excellent job!

That was beautiful. I absolutely love the title. Also, the last line was just perfect.

This is great! A really nice look at the whole process of regeneration within Doctor Who. Phoenix imagery works well.
Kiya 1/25/07 . chapter 1
Oh, this is really well done. I would expect that this is what it would feel like when I saw the episode...and the end was very bitter sweet.

Great work_

Very well done! I like how it fits in with the regeneration. I guess I'd never thought about what it's like for him. I think that we, as viewers, were more on base with Rose's perspective...or maybe that was just me... Either way, wonderful job!

Gorblimey, you are fantastic. (Also, I prodded you, and lo, there was fic!) And, wow. I can't say a lot, really, because I am terrible at articulating when I am thrilled with something, but-this is splendid. Really, really splendid. I'm not well-versed enough in Who-canon to tell you how well you got the Doctor down, but I love the sort of conversational tone, and how well I /felt/ what you were describing. And the bit about the phoenix was beautiful. I am not getting any more eloquent, am I? Suffice to say that this was wonderful and I love it. (I also love being able to read Doctor Who fic! Er. Heh.)
