I would have to agree with lareve, but otherwise, this story was heartbreaking. You certainly did it justice. I wish there were more of these...

That was so sad! Though I think I would've liked to see a lot more emotion when Hugo found out about Vera's death. Great, though.

I have to write a review for this one, although I wrote a miniature one on another site. This story was very powerful. I've got to congratulate you! However, you could've written it as if the confession hadn't yet been found. Hugo may have considered his lover as the killer? But overall, nicely done. Keep writing!

Wow, really powerful. The only thing I would suggest is changing the title of the story. Other than that, your story almost made me cry. Great job!
