Katara and Azula are the same the age, Sokka a year older than them, and Zuko a year older than Sokka. Katara and Sokka's mother when they were 8 and 9. Ursa disappered when Azula was 9 and Zuko 11. There is a one year difference.

This story has an excellent start. Great description without being long winded. The ability to convey the emotions and motivations of each character has been great as wel. Strong beginning, I hope that the story continues this way.

Just wanted you to know this was one of the stories that grabs my attention and won't let me go. It is now 4:07 in the morning, and I have read every scrap of this story in the last 5 hours. And I have to get up at ten! But it was totally worth it. Thank you so much for investing so much time and effort in it, it really shows!

As soon as I read the first chapter I knew this would be a fantastic story. Fantastic relationship issues are going on around here. Which makes Zutara so special; they hate each other... that is until Katara forgave him. But fanfics are great. They include what the characters are actually thinking. And I bet every Zuatarian is wondering what was Katara actually thinking in those crystal caves?... You answered the question.

Awesome story. :) I hate it when Katara cries. :| But when Zuko comforts her, I think it will be okay. :")

A strong start to your tale. Katara's battle between her hurt pride and her slowly blossoming feeling is intense. I look forward to the consequences of her actions.

I *loved* this story!! I can tell that you realy put a lot of yourself into the writing of it, and that just makes it all the more beautiful! Your development of Katara and Zuko (and Aang as well!) was well thought out and not rushed and unreal, which I appreciated. Your story really shows their compatability, and gives us diehard Zutarians hope for the making of the pairing canon in the show!
