I like the ending. It's sweet, simple and to the point. I found it rather cute, Lacus still has feelings for Athrun that Kira will never be able to replace. I really enjoyed the story, hope to see more.

hmm not really AxL like you proposed, it was more like hinted AxL and KxL. it wasn't very clear that it was a AxL. perhaps the story hasn't ended yet. keep it up! i would like to read more of AxL ^^.
