That was... rather abrupt. I was like, 'Wot? What just happened?!' Umm... Try to lengthen out your ending with more explanation, and all the exclamation marks are starting to get a little annoying.

Anyhoo, The over all story was good, though it jumped a little too much for my liking. It's also cool that you finished it. Too many people (myself included) never finish things we start.
