I really, really liked this. Like, a lot. I have often thought about whether "fate" played a part in the joining of Holmes and Russell. They are two such unique people and to stumble into one another... well, the chances are one in a million. I do not believe in fate, true, but it is becoming more and more of a possibility as the years pass. Odd, as such notions would normally subside with time.
