Boy, was I excited to get the update notice on this fic. It continues to be just absolutely wonderful - Ray buying a minivan - Archie naming his dog Jughead - Jake and Sam watching fireworks - this chapter had a bit of everything, and I enjoyed every word. You've even got me liking Jake - I like the comraderie he and Sam have struck up - it makes me wish we'd gotten that on the show!

Can't wait for more!

Ash, where to even begin? I finally, FINALLY got the time to sit back and enjoy this from Chapter One. And it was definitely worth the wait! Talk about "epic"... I love the way all of these plots are working and intermingling, it's really a great story and the pace is darn near perfect.

The dynamics between Sam/Jake, Archie/Jane, Luka/Abby, Neela/Abby, and of COURSE, Neela/Ray (save the best for last!) are so realistic you could reach out and touch them.

I am really loving the way you've gone about showing Ray and Neela's friendship, and the way it is obviously something which is deeper, although neither of them seem to realize it yet.

Now that I've read it, and I'm in love with it, I'm terrified that I'll have to wait a long time for the next chapter! But you wouldn't do that to me, would ya? ;)

I love long chapters! :) I really like how Ray didn't even hesitate with all the things that he's doing to be supportive and helpful to Neela--that's what best friends are for, right? Especially loved all the bits with the band--Ray slapping Benny in the back of the head made me smile because I could picture it perfectly; hilarious! You've got me wondering how Gallant's going to react to Ray's 'support'...looking forward to the next update!

Loving this story. Ray is so intune with Neela and you've really captured their friendship accurately. Have I told you before that you should be writing for ER?

This story is the best! It's definitely at the top of my favourite stories list at the moment. I love the way you've written Morris; I reckon that guy could have potential if he just grew up a little. Poor Neela - good job she's got such a great roomie to look after her.

Wow, I am feeling so spoiled with such a long and full chapter. That was awesome - sorry to hear that you're going to be without a computer for a while!

Everything about this chapter was fabulous, but a few things (okay, more than a few) really stood out for me. First, you do an excellent job with internal character dialogue. It's realistic, it's funny, it adds so much to a scene. So often internal dialogue is awkward or stilted, but yours is neither, and you do such a nice job using it.

Also, love the animal add-ins - I have a dog and two cats (littermates like S&D), so I was feeling Jane's pain the next morning when the cats demanded to be fed. Love that extra layer to the characters' personal lives.

And then, I was seriously impressed with how Ray found out about Neela. That was great! I hope you didn't think I was being critical about the pregnancy angle earlier, b/c I know you'll do it justice, and you've already added several twists that keep it new and fresh. Ray's reaction was priceless, as was the way he blurted out "How far along are you?" before he could stop himself.

And if you make Ray any sweeter I'm going to cry! I'm just loving this soft underbelly of his, but I still think you're keeping him in character. I always suspected Dr. Rock Star was a bit of a softy, and how could he not be towards his roomie? Aw...

I would quote some of my favorite parts, but I'd have to include the whole chap. To sum it up, you've done an awesome job with all four of the characters, making them believable and faliable and lovable and still quite resembling the characters as we see them on the show. Can't wait for more!
