Anyway, I hope you do end up writing more fics. It's a shame that your muse is on vacation, but when she comes back, I can't wait to see what you write!

I absolutely loved this story. I wish we had some background on Bill & Karen's marriage, etc. before season 6 started. This captured my thoughts perfectly. You did a fabulous job - keep writing more. I love Bill & Karen!

One of the great advantages of 24 from the FFN perspective is that there are these large time gaps between seasons for us to indulge our imagination. And you have obviously been feasting yours. Not only did you cover the happenings of the missing months, but you really profited from these events to explore the characters of both Bill and Karen in what I think were extremely realistic portrayals. As apparent by our prophetic preview of Karen's resignation! (You should probably add a episode 6 spoiler note to cover your final comment.)

The ending was particularly emotive but I have to ask: why is it always the female who makes the career sacrifice? Personally I could more easily see Bill as a househusband than Karen as a housewife... although as you pointed out in this story, neither are especially suited to this role.

Remember, no matter what the 24 writers have in store for Bill and Karen, they can always live large in our imaginations.

I love BillKaren stories! And that was an excellent one, by the way. I like how you kind of softened them a little. On the show they're more professional, except the part where he asks her for breakfast. A lot of times that would have seemed OOC, but you did a good job of keeping them in character.

Well done! Bill and Karen are really interesting characters with plenty of potential, and they also make a fantastic pair. I love how they are the powerful, well-connected couple this season, and after last night, I'm dying to see them team up again and inflict some punishment on Lennox! This is a lovely fic, and I like how you've filled in the gaps in between seasons. Great writing and great story!

Excellent, excellent story! I love Karen and Bill togehter, they're such a cute couple and it's good to see fanfic about them. Yours is the first one i've read with this pairing and i absolutely loved it. Very well written and you did a great job of keeping Karen and Bill in character. Hope you will write more stories about them.

I just want you to know that I love this story!! The only reason I watch 24 is because of Bill and Karen, so we can worry about our favourite couple together, lol. I love it and I am completely in love with your other B/K story too! Please keep this up--it makes me very happy!! Lol!

I loved it! I'm a huge fan of Bill since season 5 and I'm glad that you still write about him. It's almost as good as your other one, Past, Present and Future. I too hope they will have some sort of happy ending this season.
