This is dead, isn't it?

The story with the intriguing black book "Finding Alice" reminds me of the movie "the number 23" where the story and the book and the reality of the movie blends into one revealing the main character's true past. i hope you bring that book back and reintroduce some of the characters in the book "finding alice."

I can't really find anything useful to say about this piece, other than that I like it. Very realistic so far. It really is sad how people tend to slip away. =/ So many classmates I'd love to talk to, or just randomly meet on the street, again. God, I feel old.

I dunno elijah, ranma seems to be one of the most forgiving anime characters ever, if he was half as vengeful as you say he is then Nerima would be a graveyard for crazy martial artists like Principal Kunou and Mu Tsu and perverts like Kunou and Xian Pu

I like what I’ve seen in the last few chapters. I can tell that the author has made some great advances in storytelling and grammar here, whereas in the beginning it had been just average at best. It also felt like the author was rushing in the start, to get to the good stuff most likely. Still, this is a very good Ranma½ fanfic and although the updates are rare at best, I still would recommend everyone reading this to keep an eye on this one.

I find the current storyline slightly worrying. Just what in the nine hells was Akane thinking? I can accept that she has started another relationship and wants to sweep the plate clean between her and Ranma, but the way she did it is bound to bring trouble. From what I could tell, it would appear as if Ranma has gone into shellshock; unable to fully grasp what has happened and uncertain on how to react.

It’s like watching a nightmarish train wreck to happen. I could almost imagine the clock ticking away within his head as he left the meeting between him, Akane and their fathers.

A man like Ranma, especially one with his past and behavior patterns, I have a bad feeling of what he might do should he instead of relying his rational thought, go for his feelings. Humans are mainly emotional beings, which means that things like love and fury can overwrite all rational thinking, and thus I can see our favorite pigtailed martial artist finally loosing it at some point...violently. I mean, look at the original storyline. His temper is just slightly better than that of Ryoga’s. Had it been the eternally lost boy in his shoes, I think Shatosi would be missing limbs right about now, which brings me to another point I want to bring up...

Just how much does Satoshi know about Ranma? Does he know that Akane’s fiancé killed a demigod – A DEMIGOD – to save her life? Yes, Saffron was reborn, but Ranma didn’t know he would and thus consciously committed himself into killing him. You don’t go and grin on a guy like that while telling them that you’ve just taken his fiancée away from him, not even in a roundabout way. It’s just not done. Not by intelligent people at least. It’s not like twisting a knife in a guy’s wound; it’s like tearing open a whole slew of new ones, all the while pouring a gallon of acid into them. It’s amazing Ranma didn’t just outright hit him by reflex when he figured out what was going on, and in its own way tells us something about his self-control in this story.

Yes, I do hope he can deal with this thing rationally, but I can’t just see it. He is going to be bitter and furious about it, even though he may not show it on the surface. I know he’s going to carry a grudge and it’s going to be only a matter of time when he finally detonates. I just hope he doesn’t lash out at the wrong people when it happens.

I’ve seen and known people in the real world who’ve experienced something similar, and I can tell you that nine out of ten incidents have ended either tragically or at least with some collateral damage. It would be unreal should Ranma just walk away from this incident without giving into his emotions, in which case he could turn even worse than Ryoga; filled with nothing but negative thoughts and emotions - a walking bomb in other words.

And yes, I am eagerly waiting for more chapters on this story.

another interesting chapter! i do have to wonder though, when is Ranma going to see Hakuron again? either way, please keep up the great work!

Just wanted to tell you that i like your story and I am looking forward to the next chapter, I am a little confused as I why Ranma cannot remember what happend to her or if this is in fact to two stories put back to back. One isues that I guess I missed in your story was how Ryouga was named heir by Genma and then in chapter 9 seemed to be now no longer part of the picture. In chapter two that is how you had Ranma tell her tale to, Hakuron. Anyway besides that minor confusion it seems like the tendo's are behaving differently enough to warrant confusion on Ranma part and mine too, i would suggest maybe some background into why they have changed. Nabiki is not that much older than akane, one year if I remember right and you have her in a job while Akane is just 19 in college. it left me wondering why Nabiki was not in college as well. But as I said i like the story and would like to see the next chapter. thank you for creating this story.
