This was the perfect follow-up chapter to the one before for reasons already mentioned. With perfect clarity Kakashi is starting to notice her and you're doing a great job at keeping your readers on edge as to when they will finally admit there is more to friendship in their encounters.

There was a great sense of friendship between the two characters in this chapter. I liked how you mentioned such treatment was also given to Naruto and it was all in harmless fun. It made the flirting more innocuous yet somewhat even more meaningful in a true-friendship sort of way. (If that makes any sense.)

The flow of this chapter was very good. I like the way you made Kakashi not only vulnerable but accepting of changes that have happened. Since you've established that Sakura and Kakashi can now be considered equals, you've provided the liberties that allow things to be seen in a different light. What a wonderful job you did in telling of a blatantly embarrasing moment that effectively reflected the time that has passed and the distance they have both come as Shinobi of Konoha. It also leaves room for personal growth with each other.

Great storytelling in the blink of an eye. I liked this first chapter where Sakura manages to impress Kakashi.

Well, I can safely say that that was an amazing rendition of their relationship. You did a great job and because I was reading this in the middle of class, I had a very hard time keeping the grin off my face.

I love the process of breaking past Kakashi's friendship barriers. I love how there was a foreplay chapter and then BOOM awesomeness.

I like the brevity of this and the build-up. It's a unique spin on the relationship; I'm tired of the estrogen-charged romantic situations, and this was a nice alternative.

The characterisation wasn't bad -- though neither did they feel especially authentic to me. I think maybe that's partially due to the purposeful removement of depth here.


One question, though. Where does the conception that Genma and Kakashi are friends originate from? Similarly, why is Genma always portrayed as a letch? As far as I know, there is nothing in canon to support either of those assumptions, and yet they're widespread.

i agree completely with your comments. this is i can picture sakura as the only woman who could make a relationship with kakashi work.

and i do think it would take a long time. nice drabbles btw. ^_^
