Seiya's Star 2007-01-30 . chapter 1I've got to say I really like this poem! If the Doctor writes poems I can imagine him writing one just like this. It starts to get deep into how he feels, and then kind of stops in mid feeling and goes on to something else, which is exactly how he is all along the whole show. It tells how he has come to love Rose, and how hard it is to "say goodbye" to her, and how he must wonder so badly how she is, and how he longs to have what he can't. It imparts to the reader glimpses of how he feels, and makes you think he will start to bear his soul, and then falls just short of that, just like the Doctor is so good at doing in the last 2 seasons. It's an excellent example of how the Doctor would write about her! BRAVO! I LOVED it!
I don't know if you want the "well-rounded" critique they mention on this form, or just "Good!s" or what, but if I were to change anything or add anything, I guess it would be to maybe add a little bit in the beginning about why the Doctor was able to not get quite as attached to his other notable companions, thereby stressing even more how special Rose was. I don't know if you've seen all the Dr seasons, but like mentioning one of Dr4's companions might be a suggestion. But I'm just offering this in case you want the "well-rounded" review, cause really, I just loved your poem bunches and bunches! *^_^* |
