Good story; it was fun to read how one kiss made half a year horribly awkward. You're comma usage could use some refining, though. Sorry, I'm a grammar freak, but any time you're using a conjunction like and, or, but, those sort of things, if the next half of the sentence could be a separate sentence, you should put a comma before it. Sorry to sound like an English teacher, but I'm obsessed with that sort of thing. Keep it up, though, your ideas are good.
