You know what I'd like to see? And I know this makes me kind of evil, but I'd like to see the team lose a patient they would have originally saved. Here's my reasoning: so many times in the series Chase's ideas and contributions have been scoffed at, not by House!, but by his co-workers. Cameron and Foreman always seem so smug in their assumed superiority over Chase, but how many times have Chase's disregarded ideas or musings turned out to be right or at least crucial to unraveling the case? I think your story is a great setup to force Cameron and Foreman to acknowledge Chase's contribution to the team. Maybe you could pick a patient that Chase was primarily responsible for saving (primarily besides House that is, it shouldn't be hard to find) and have that patient die. Like the one that the team had to try to save themselves when House and Cuddy were stuck on that plane! That's perfect! It was totally Chase that saved the day, and House won't be there to pick up Foreman and Cameron's slack. And then when House comes back while he's berating them he could point out that 'Chase would have gotten it' or they could come to that conclusion on their own (though I doubt their egos would let them). What do you think?

Really, excellent job on the universe, though. I was so excited after reading the first one that I skipped straight to the sequel without reviewing, but it was really brilliant. Robbie's character is realistic and genius, and I loved their interaction.

I was hoping for more, but I've been thwarted. I'm putting this on my Alert, but I'm also putting this on your concience: I will cry every time I see my inbox and there isn't an update in it. Oh yeah, I went there. Can you sleep at night, knowing that you're making an innocent little reviewer cry?
