That was so good! I love angsty fics and this was perfect. I seriously thought that House had died and was ready to start bawling, and then you totally twisted it on us. brilliant!

Still loving the style of dialogue you use between House and Cameron. It worked very well in this chapter.

Loved this chapter! I don't mind the elevator cliche; it was extremely well written. The back-and-forth tension between them was palpable and the evolution of his character to the point that he would want her to move in with him was very believable.

I'm glad she gave him the Vicodin back. Forcing him is a little to Stacy-ish in my book.

Nah, I don't think they smiled and laughed too much. It was nice and understated. They have to have a good time occasionally, right? And I'm so glad you have them toy with their names. It bugs me to no end when they start calling each other Greg and Allison as if it's the most natural thing in the world.

Loved the “She never leaves her stuff here” refrain as evidence of House's stuckness.

“I don’t think I can love you the way you want me to. Because of that, you’ll leave me. That’s what I’m afraid of and I won’t say it again.”

House's admission of fear was amazing and done so in character.

I love that it's House who says "I hate you" first. A very revealing moment.

The hand-holding bit was excellently done. I loved the description of his hands and the pauses as both she and he communicated through just that little bit of contact.

Three great snapshots of their developing "relationship" here, though of course the last one ranks as my favorite. “How much would you take…if I gave you me?” That was a wonderful line, and you wrote the whole exchange beautifully. Your Cameron really seems to know how far she can push House. I like the way you portray that delicate balance.

Loved the brief conversation between Cameron and House. The dialogue is spare and isn't obvious. What I'm trying to say is that their words follow well upon their thoughts and motivations but don't do so in an overly obvious way, if that makes any sense. Anyway: great dialogue.
