I liked this story, especially the part where Midoriko complained about going out of her way to save a demon XD, as she then treated Kirara's wounds :) and their final conversation XD. I enjoyed reading this ;).

Aw, this is cute. I love Kirara...though, im not sure if she is with Midoriko in the Manga. The Anime hints at it. Personally i think that it is amazing having Kirara connected to two very strong warrior women.

I love it, but why were the demons hunting her? A meal maybe? I'll guess this is still when she's very young and can't yet turn into her saber-tooth form. And what does the 'mata' in Nekomata mean? I never found that out...
