great chapter, and start, i'm more into happy stories, my self but some times i need a good cry, so i read sad stories.

As Damien walked along the road, he was surprised when a beam of energy hit the ground in front of him, and condensed into an armored, humanoid figure.

"A Pokémon trainer who would kill his or her Pokémon does not deserve to live..." the figure said in a voice that had "I'm going to kill you" practically as a set part of it. "I can see it on your guilty countenance...you fear me...you have killed your Pokémon. Therefore, the point on which you now stand will become a monument to what becomes of trainers who kill." The figure's arms turned into cannons, and he jumped about 10 meters, pointing his arm cannons down. At the height of his jump, he was directly over Damien.

FIRE. Both cannons fired, launching the figure into space, and releasing a huge (about 50 meters in diameter) beam of energy straight downward. It tore through Damien, killing him instantaneously, but inflicting a huge amount of pain. The blast lasted about 30 seconds, and blasted a hole through the Earth within the first 2. The rest of the time, it just kept the hole from caving in by dematerializing all the cave-ins, and expanding the hole. The result was a hole about 60 meters in diameter going straight through the Earth. And a very dead Damien.

Damiens a jerk. gr. i like houndhour's loyalty, it's fits into the dogs-(houndours)-are-loyal theme.

personally that is against all reality, just imagine houndour is a dog, if you have punished a dog onced, as in treating it with cruelty, the dog will react either agresively or acutiously, not approaching to a man with a stick to be killed, that's really anti coherency.

I read the sequel before I read this. I'm glad you decided that Nightflame should be free. This is an epic story. I love it.
