ILOVEALIAS4EVER 2007-05-25 ch 15,	abuseOMG! I cannot believe that this fic has finished. What a ride, hey? I'm still reeling over the fact that on the 22nd of May, it was a year since the ALIAS final aired in America. Can you believe that it has been ONE WHOLE YEAR already? sighs... Alright. So from the beginning... jumps with joy I effing LOVE the relationship between Sydney & Vaughn. You have written them in a way that is believable to all us fans. It's incredible. I love that we get an 'unofficial' insight into their marriage. FANTASTIC! I LOVE SYDNEY! She is so selfless -- she always has been (when it comes to the people she loves). I love that she will do anything for the people she loves and cares about. I love that she will open her heart to try and make things OK for the people in her life. does Weiss dance She really is a fantastic character, and I love how you write her. Conversation between Summer and Sydney? BLODDY AWESOME! Oh, I loved EVERY bit of it. It was perfect. Literally EVERy word was perfect. I really wish that we got (or hopefully get) to see what Sydney (and Vaughn) are like with their children. I think it would just be incredible to exprience, especially after getting to know them so well after 5 years. But that convo, Mel, was amazing. I love that you can just feel their connection as mother and daughter even though it isn't biological. BRILLIANT! WOO HOO! WOO HOO! WOO HOO! Mitch and Summer are together! I mean, we knew it was inevitable, but it was like when we we're all begging for SYdney and Vaughn to get together -- PURE BLISS! I loved how it was so natural and... just worked. I love how Mitch's character is sort of a shadow of Vaughn's in place for Sydney... AWESOMENESS! And I just loved how Vaughn mentioned that Summer sounds like Sydney sometimes -- and that she used to mimick her when she was little. I love reading about the 'normal' things in their lives -- just incredible. sighs I'm going to really miss this story. At least I still have FROM WHERE SHE CAME -- but do you think you could be so ever kind as to write an ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING, Sydney/ Vaughn based fic? I WOULD LOVE THAT -- not to mention probably everyone else who reads your awesome fics. smiles innocently I'm sad to see this go, but I loved how it ended. Great work, Mel. I just read the last 3 or so chapters, and they have been awesome, Mel. I loved this last chapter, with the whole Sydney KICKING Lauren's *! I know everything will be all good between Vaughn & Summer, but are we going to get a little Mitch/ Summer action? wriggles eyebrows* Fantastic Updates! And I cannot wait for the last part. ILOVEALIAS4EVER 2007-04-05 ch 10,	abuseOMG! What an eventful chapter. Mel, I love you! Ah... the Sydney & Vaughn scenes -- I know, I know. But I told you I was a hopeless shipper... giddy little smile Before I write my 'review', something weird keeps happening when I come over to read the newest update. A few weeks ago, I opened up the update link and started reading the chapter, but I noticed that I hadn't read that chapter before, so somehow I had 'skipped' it, and then just before -- as I went to read this chapter, I noticed that I had missed the previous one as well? I have no idea why that's happening... confused Oh! You've seen Season 5! How good is it? Did you love it? A few chapters back, I noticed that the title was was from RUNAWAY TRAIN, and I thought; "OMG! It's from S5!" I was so excited, and then thi chapter was from THE CITY LIGHTS -- and I have not been able to stop listening to it since I saw OUT OF THE BOX! Anyway, on to my review... (“Hey.” Sydney perched herself on the edge of Vaughn’s desk. “You recovered yet?” Vaughn groaned. “Whose bright idea was it to go out for birthday drinks after dinner…on a work night?” Sydney let out a laugh, running a hand down the side of his face. “I believe that it was the birthday boy.” “Oh right,” Vaughn leaned back in his seat. “So what is going on?” “We’ve got ourselves a hot tip,” Sydney said, lowering her voice. “Of a location of an Allégeance facility.” “Whereabouts?” “Krakow,” Sydney replied. “Dixon and Weiss are on point. I think that dad wants you to run things from back here. Details should be arriving on your desk shortly.” “All fun and games, hey?” Sydney nodded, glancing down at Vaughn’s desk, her eyes falling on the new photo frame. “Where did that come from?” “Summer,” Vaughn said, his tone obviously softer. “She gave it to me yesterday morning.” Sydney smiled warmly at the photograph, remembering the exact moment that it had been taken. She could still hear the laughter echoing in her ears. “We had so much fun that day.” “Yeah, we did,” Vaughn said. “And to think that it was only months ago. It doesn’t feel like we’re having all that much fun anymore.” Sydney leaned forward slightly, cupping Vaughn’s face with her hands. “Sure, we are. It’s only here, with this investigation, that you feel that way. At home, with Sum and Liam, you can leave all of this behind. All you have to do is look at that photo to realize that.” Vaughn sighed, moving forward so that he could press his lips onto Sydney’s. “Putting that ring on your finger was the smartest thing I have ever done.” “Of course it was,” Sydney said, standing up. “I should let you get back to work.” “Do you have to?” “Uh huh,” Sydney placed a kiss on his forehead. “Have fun.”) -- I know that is like, super-duper long, but I just had to quote that little extract from that scene. I seriously just threw my head back when I read that, and gave a little sque... That was beautifully written, Mel. I just thought that it would be so much like them if we saw them married. I love that they are married in this story. And HAPPY! I think that's an important element to their lives. I would quote the whole scene between Summer & Mitch, but just doesn't have the capabilities so quote correctly - and also that it would be like crazily, wildy long! /Vaughn. But, OMG! O.M.G! OH MY GOD! He kissed her! And she ran!? I loved that you put in that it was something she had wanted for a long time though - that was great. I seriously cannot get over how much I see Sydney & Vaughn's relationship in theirs. And I love that your making it your own. It gives us something to look forward too. I mean, I remember watching ALIAS, and I would just be busting for the next episode just to see Sydney & Vaughn's relationship progress even further. I mean, didn't everyone? That's what it's like for me, reading Summer & Mitchell's realtionship - and I'm also glad that you didn't make us wait 25 chapters for a move to be made (PHASE ONE was the 25th episode of the series). I am relly looking forward to seeing what's going to happen after Mitchs' kiss of love... (“Vaughn, this is going to end.” “I really hope so.” “It will. Information is being contained, which narrows their options of retrieving that information. And after Dixon and Weiss, it will be days, max, before we find them. They put our friend’s lives in danger and I am going to make it my mission to make them pay. Those responsible will never see daylight again after I get my hands on them.” Vaughn had a small admiring smile on his face as he stepped forward and kissed Sydney softly. The kiss was long and when they separated he was still smiling. “I am so glad that you are fighting on the same side as me.” Sydney grinned. “What can I say? I get a little intense when those I care about are involved.” Vaughn raised an eyebrow. “A little?”) -- BOO YAH! Great to see that there is still that determination there from Sydney (& Vaughn) to bring the 'bad guys' to justice. Very! Season 1/2. Loving it... Oh... Where is Summer going to go? I immediatley thought her mum... but then I thought, maybe she is just going to try and leave her double life for good. I mean, could you imagine the stress she must be under? She thinks her parents are enemies to the US government. I cannot wait to find out what happens next, and how Summer (and S/V) will react once they find out that Lauren is really the bad guy! Fantastic update Mel! PLEASE UPDATE SOON, and I would love to see an update for FROM WHERE SHE CAME -- I am REALLY loveing that story. (And this one of course.) Oh, and since you have seen S5, can we expect any fic from you based around it? I REALLY hope you do! I can't think of a better author for it :) Sorry about the unorganised review -- it's hard when I don't have those QUOTE things like on SD-1... LOVE BREE

ILOVEALIAS4EVER 2007-03-30 ch 7,	abuseOK. First off, I just want to start by congratulating you on a chapter that bought me so many memories of ALIAS, that I could feel emotions in my bones. I know that sounds weird, but after everything, there is just so much stuff in ALIAS that was just so phenomenal. “And this office is doing all we can to protect ourselves and bring them down,” Jack said. “So, instead of stressing over nothing, I suggest that you go home to your family.” -- that was just AMAZING! I love that last sentence by Jack - about Sydney going home to her FAMILY. I mean, I know this is AU, but hearing that just makes me all giddy, and happy and so happy for her. I mean after everything, she finally has everything she wants. She finally has everything she really ever needed. (I know this is really about Summer, but I just have to make comments on my favourites...) "Silence descended upon the sister’s as they both pondered their own situations. Sydney couldn’t help but wonder. Had she, herself, been better off not knowing the truth? Or was she better off having met Irina and having tried to again some understanding of the woman who was a part of her? In all truth, she could not answer, but what she did know was that it had been easier before she knew the whole truth. And that was what Summer deserved. A chance for an easy, enjoyable life, not a tangled, complicated mess." -- I really don't know how to descreibe what I felt after reading that. It just seemes so much like Sydney. It was PERFECT. The way you wrote her thoughts there, was just so... so true to what needed to be asked. Was Sydney really better off knowing the truthabout her mother? That was FANTASTIC Mel! “See you tomorrow then,” Mitch said as they headed towards the front door. “Oh, and Sum.” She turned. “Yeah?” “I don’t want to hear any more apologies about tonight…or for whenever you need to talk. You know that whenever you feel like you’re ‘losing it’ my ears are always here.” “I know that, Mitch,” Summer said quietly. “Thank you.” -- I love Summer & Mitchell's relationship. It reminds me SO MUCH of Sydney & Vaughn's relationship - especially around the SD-6/DOUBLE AGENT phase. And I'm really looking forward to seeing whether or not their relationship progresses into a romantic thing... All in all, this was probably my favourite chapter so far. The things you have written in here are so true to ALIAS, that it's just INCREDIBLE. Honestly, I really don't know how to say, what I really want to say. This chapter just had so many fantastic elements to it. Great chapter, Mel. And I cannot WAIT for the next part. PLEASE DON'T KEEP US WAITING! LOVE BREE
