 nljfs 2009-10-30 . chapter 1Cute... I'm so glad I found you're stories! |
mountainelements 2009-07-05 . chapter 1This is a pretty good one-shot. I don't know anything about either series that I haven't read on the Internet, but I like Daniel's inner struggles. The advice is also pretty interesting though I'm not the sort to use it. It leaves you wondering whether Daniel ever takes it. |
GreenEyes7 2009-04-27 . chapter 1This was a very thought-provoking fic. I really enjoyed the way Daniel and Methos interacted. It's a very insightful look at the way that they think. Thanks for writing and sharing. |
Adri Methos Slytherin 2009-03-26 . chapter 1I love this story! To be honest, I love all your highlander stories especially the crossovers. I know it's been a while since you wrote 'Escape Route' but is there any chance you'll be writing a sequel?? please! |
icestar-comet-moon 2009-02-10 . chapter 1*flyby love for this fic* I hope Daniel does find him again... (They could escape together, archeo-liguists against the world ;) )
thanks for writing it. =) *faves* |
Barranca 2008-08-16 . chapter 1Well, at least there's one person who gives good advice and knows how to follow it. I've always appreciated Methos' skill in planning ahead. |
irthos 2008-06-10 . chapter 1very, very well done! a good combination of both fandoms. methos is one of my fav highlander characters. keep up the good work! |
Gyreflight 2008-05-22 . chapter 1I don't usually review two stories by the same author in a row, but, well, I wanted to. And it's really good.
Again, your Teal'c has a definite presence, but I especially like your Daniel. He appeals to me in the same way that lembas7 and Vathara's Daniels do, with that observational awareness of other people coupled with a self-aware vulnerability, and a scholar's ability to make connections, draw conclusions, and make decisions.
It's noticeable that as a communicator he casts hints as invitations to question…and it's noticeable that his friends don't pick up on them. It makes it easier to see the transition to where he starts thinking along with Methos: "Just in case it all goes bad. If it all goes bad, when it all goes bad." That's not usually a Daniel thought…but this is a weary Daniel, a Daniel who can see his 'naivete' in the lost passion and innocence of his younger self.
Even secondhand, the Methos that Daniel knew really does feel like him - the recommendation of how Daniel should have approached his 'Aliens' lecture rings true...as does the seed-thought of the fic. Joining the Watchers was an incredibly dangerous thing for an immortal to do – and of all immortals, that one would most certainly have made sure he had an 'out'. I liked Methos' reaction to his own gamble – and I liked his warning to Daniel.
On "life and death and oaths and peace." Yes indeed, I can see where 'Adam' and Daniel might stand to the same lines…

Inarae 2008-05-01 . chapter 1Once again, it's great. Thanks for the good read |
The Mushroom Fairy 2008-01-13 . chapter 1What a brilliant idea for a crossover! Love it. I can totally see Methos in college, and being Daniel's roommate is surprisingly believable. |
 Nehfi-Tirri 2008-01-04 . chapter 1Interesting... very interesting actually! |
Trinity Day 2007-12-29 . chapter 1Wonderful story. There were so many great points in it, so telling, and I already know I'd forget one or two of my favourites if I tried to list them all. But I loved the drunken talk of the danger of oaths... or rather, the danger of people that make you take oaths. |
Isis the Sphinx 2007-10-27 . chapter 1Very, very nice. Another bunch of strings you've pulled on here. And it also gave me a bit to think about. Thanks. Keep writing! |
 ygt 2007-10-04 . chapter 1 very interesting story! |
 CedarPineSpruce 2007-09-23 . chapter 1Fantastic |
